Dunkeld is one of five luxurious bungalows in the Tea Trails collection, perched high above the stunning Castlereagh Lake near Dickoya, overlooking the lush green tea plantations of the Dunkeld Estate.

This exquisite bungalow features four bedrooms and a standalone cottage named the Owner’s Cottage, a honeymoon favorite.

Spanning 145 sqm, this standalone cottage offers panoramic views of tea-clad mountains and the magical Castlereagh reservoir, complete with its own heated outdoor jacuzzi.

Designed for two, the cottage includes:

The cottage is named after Andrew Taylor, a former resident tea planter at Tea Trails and grandson of James Taylor, the pioneer of Ceylon tea.

Similar to other Tea Trails bungalows, rooms at Dunkeld can be booked individually, or you can reserve the entire bungalow for yourself. Rates include morning tea, a full cooked breakfast, daily three-course lunch (or picnic), four-course dinner, high tea, pre-dinner cocktails and canapés, all soft drinks, selected alcoholic drinks, and even laundry.

Guests also enjoy a complimentary tour of the tea factory and fields with the resident tea planter, including a tasting session and a boat ride on the shimmering Castlereagh reservoir.
